Message from the Interim University President

Cheryl Hayek, Ed.D. Chief Academic Officer/Provost and Interim President

Welcome to Grantham University! We are a 65-year old, student-focused university deeply committed to providing quality, accessible, and affordable programs. We offer our quality 100% online degree programs so that students can simultaneously live their lives and pursue their educational goals. Our vision is one of inclusion: We strive to level the playing field so that all those who commit themselves to their educational potential have the support to make that dream a reality. We are here to help you every step of the way. We proudly assert in our University vision that we are committed to serving those who serve and those who strive to make a difference in their lives and their community. This commitment is evident in our policies, practices, and support services. It’s one of the reasons we’ve been recognized for nine consecutive years on the list of America’s Top Colleges and Universities by Military Advanced Education & Transition.

As a distance education provider, we hold ourselves to the highest standards. For 55 years, we have been continuously accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission, upholding its rigorous standards for distance education delivery so that you have confidence in the degree you earn.

Congratulations on changing your life and the lives of those around you by seeking higher education. I encourage you to take everything you learn in each course and apply it to your personal and professional lives. Impact doesn’t begin when you finish your degree, it begins the day you start it. We are proud you have chosen us to be a part of that impact you leave on this world. Through quality programming, flexible scheduling, support services, and engaging faculty, we, in turn, are dedicated to helping you do just that.

Sincerely,
Cheryl Hayek, Ed.D.
