Career Resources

Career Service Assistance

Grantham University has in place dedicated Student Progress Representatives (SPR) who offer career service assistance to help a student with his/her career, educational, and most importantly, career placement needs. These dedicated SPRs offer confidential career service assistance to help a student if he/she has career and educational concerns and issues with which he/she wants assistance. The process will encourage a student to think about where he/she has been, where he/she is now and where he/she wants to go. All of these "destination points" lead to the conversations, strategies, activities, and experiences a student wants to pursue to make sound career decisions.

The assistance that a student receives includes, but isn’t limited to, the following: resume assistance, cover letter assistance, interviewing assistance, thank you letter assistance, and job search coaching.  The assistance that a student receives through their SPR is unique to his/her own needs, goals, and situations. Although the SPRs who offer career advice will not make decisions for the student, the student can rely on these designated SPRs to support, guide, and challenge as he/she formulates and pursues career goals.
