Alireza Torabian Ph.D.
Global Faculty Member, Alireza Torabian, PhD received his Doctorate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Currently, Dr. Torabian is Director of Marketing and Business Developments at Apollo Photonics, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is responsible for the management of business operations, marketing, worldwide sales, and managing technical support team at Apollo. Dr. Torabian has extensive teaching experience on teaching basic and advanced courses in electrical engineering at Canadian universities. He has more than 15 years of experience conducting research on numerical analysis and designing microwave/RF and photonic integrated circuits. Dr. Torabian was involved in various projects at SPAR, ComDev, and Nortel in array antenna design, monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC), and RFIC. He has published more than 25 conference and journal papers.
