Bari Courts, Ph.D.
Global Faculty Member, Dr. Bari Courts, holds a Ph.D. in eCommerce from Capella University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Management from the University of Cincinnati. He earned his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College. Dr. Courts has been teaching for four years and earned his Ph.D. online at Capella, so he is very familiar with the type of support a student needs to complete a degree online. In addition to teaching, Dr. Courts worked in the insurance industry and spent three years as a project manager for a major Peoplesoft software implementation.
When he isn’t teaching, Dr. Courts spends time with his son selling items on eBay. They are eBay Power Sellers, as well as eBay Education Specialists and eBay Certified Consultants. In addition to his wife, son and daughter, he also has a dog and two cats. Dr. Courts enjoys playing soccer and singing in a barbershop chorus and barbershop quartet.
