Bashar Elkhatib
Global Faculty Member, Bashar Elkhatib received his Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Ferris State University. Currently Bashar is enrolled in Northcentral University in the Business Administration MIS PhD program. Bashar is a technical program manager, MIS analyst, and a training expert. He is currently a Program Manager at Intel’s IT People Development and Training Division, where he’s been since 2000. Before that, he worked for international technology-related companies in Michigan and California. Recently, Bashar earned the ITIL Certification (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), a credential in the IT Service Management area that demonstrates an understanding of the concepts for the ten core IT Service Management disciplines. He is one of approximately 5,000 professionals worldwide who have earned this certificate. Over the last several years, Bashar has had an opportunity to teach various IT and MIS courses at University of Phoenix, Devry, National University, and Ferris State University, in addition to the classes that he teaches to Intel developers and engineers through Intel University worldwide. Bashar’s previous experiences include software development, systems analysis, technical support, IT management, and IT training.
