Cyril Ritter
Global Faculty Member, Cyril K. Ritter holds a Master of Arts Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Canyon College, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Northeast Missouri State University. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, as well as the Senior Management Institute for Police, which is a joint educational effort with Harvard and Boston University.
Currently, Chief Ritter is a Deputy Chief for the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. He has been with the Department for twenty-three years and is currently the Commander of the Executive Services Bureau, which includes Budget, Financial Services, Fleet Operations, and Planning and Research. Chief Ritter served as a Detective, then Sergeant and Commander of the Intelligence Unit, where he was involved with numerous federal task forces analyzing intelligence information to combat Organized Crime and Terrorism. Prior to his work in law enforcement, Chief Ritter was an educator with the Missouri State School System.
