Gary Minor, J.D.
Global Faculty Member, Gary Minor, JD completed his Master of Business Administration in Information Systems at City University in the state of Washington. After completing his MBA, he attended Seattle University School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor. He also obtained his police executive certification, a requirement to be a chief executive of a law enforcement agency in Washington. Gary’s educational background includes courses in juvenile justice, criminology, ethics, community policing, comparative law, politics of law, supervision and executive management. He has also attended courses at FEMA in disaster management and disaster recovery. Gary served as a Chief of Police, President of the Snohomish County Police and Sheriff's Association, and on the South Snohomish County Police Advisory Committee. He also served two terms as the Chairman of the Board for Emergency Services Coordinating Agency (ESCA), a FEMA affiliate. He is presently serving on the City of Desert Hot Springs Public Safety Commission. He teaches online criminal justice classes for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Upper Iowa University, Central Texas College, and American Military University.
