Jayson Sayers
Global Faculty Member, Jayson Sayers received his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from North Central College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University. In his 20 year career, he has held a variety of senior technical and management positions in Engineering and Information Technology. Mr. Sayers spent 11 years with AT&T Bell Laboratories where, as a Member of Technical Staff, his roles included hardware and software development for electronic switching systems and work on AT&T’s early online and internet service offerings. He spent five years with Williams Communications in various roles including Director of Network Architecture and Chief Technologist. During his time at Williams Communications, Mr. Sayers was part of the team that lead the design and deployment of the company’s award winning nationwide fiber optic network. He currently works as a Network Engineering Consultant for MasterCard Worldwide with responsibilities for network planning and architecture of their global transaction network. Additionally, he has taught as an adjunct for several colleges and universities in the areas of Information Systems and Technology, Electronics, and Telecommunications.
