John Halstead Ph.D.
Global Faculty Member, John M. Halstead, PhD received his Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He has taught at several universities including the University of Connecticut. Dr. Halstead’s dissertation analyzed the 1994 Orange County, California, bankruptcy and Long-Term Capital Management, a former Greenwich, Connecticut hedge fund. Along with two co-authors, he has published an article in The Financial Review and another one in The Journal of Alternative Investments. He previously worked as a research analyst at a professional money management firm and ran for the U.S. Congress in 2004.
