Rick Virost
Global Faculty Member, Rick Virost received his Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He has 27 years experience working for Eastman Chemical Company in major projects and technical support for green field chemical plant operations. He also prepared technical training materials and manuals and has taught courses as an instructor for newly hired operators of all experience levels. Mr. Virost served in the U.S. Air Force as a bioenvironmental engineering expert who focused on both industrial hygiene protection of the worker and on protection of the environment. As a Laboratory Instructor (4 years, part time) at Case Western Reserve University, he assisted in the design and development of new process experiments, and then supervised undergraduate chemical engineering students in running these on equipment in the separations processes laboratory.
