Marketing Intern/Creative Writing - Communications
Position Description
- Research
- Draft copy for newsletters and articles
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials
- Proof and edit marketing materials
- Assist with the creation, collection and formatting of surveys and survey results
- Participate in weekly staff production meetings as necessary
- Assist with project development
- Contact vendors for project quotes
- Maintain a variety of databases
- Assist with mailings
- Provide general administrative support
- Other Marketing duties as needed
Required/Preferred Skills and Experience
- Creative Writing, Communications or related field of study is required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Internet research
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of desktop publishing and HTML helpful but not required
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible with regard to prioritizing work and projects
- Must be a team player
