Online University Continues Growing withGrantham University is growing as the need continues to grow for online education Plans to Hire Locally.Grantham University plans to hire approximately 100 new employees at their Kansas City Campus in 2007. Starting in January, the University will be recruiting in the areas of admissions, student progress, accounts payable,accounts receivable, finance, computer programming, data analysis, software applications, training, financial aid and admissions’ management.

He works full time as a correctional officer, is a member of the Rhode Island Air National Guard and has three kids who are active in sports. But every night, he carves out time to study. Panarello is studying for a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a specialty in homeland security, completing courses online through Grantham University.

Grantham University Selected as Educational Partner of the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA). Grantham University, specializing in educating working adults, was selected by FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) as an educational partner, allowing graduates of the academy to continue their education by obtaining advanced degrees. Grantham University is one of seven accredited universities selected nationwide as a partner in this effort.

Recovery Battle 101. I have had the honor to work with hundreds of Louisianans including a few folks from Mississippi and Alabama that that were dealt a devastating blow (literally and figuratively) by Hurricane Katrina. I am very fortunate to still be working with many of these fine people, and having lived much more closely among them over the past 12 months, am convinced that the adjective "champion" is the only appropriate moniker to ascribe to them rather than mere hurricane "survivor" or "refugee".

Grantham University, specializing in educating working adults, announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Blacks in Government's (BIG) Region XI. The agreement was signed by Mr. Tom Macon, chairman of Grantham University, and Dr. Larry Phillips, president of BIG Region XI, during a news conference hosted by BIG Region XI's Department of Education Chapter at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. on Monday, August 7th.

Grantham University Moves from N.O. to K.C. Ending a 55 year run in Louisiana, Grantham University has relocated from New Orleans to Kansas City, Mo., as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Grantham University, now an online university with more than 11,000 students, recently received recognition in Harvard Review's June 2006 issue on "The Future of Urbanization."

05/25/06 - Grantham Graduate Receives Recognition as a DETC Outstanding Graduate.

On April 11, 2006, at the Distance Education and Training Council's (DETC) 80th Annual Conference, Grantham graduate, Susan Bailey received a Certificate of Recognition and plaque as a 2006 DETC Outstanding Graduate.

05/24/06 - Grantham University Signs Articulation Agreement with Bellevue University

Allowing Students to Transfer Credits. The articulation agreement with Bellevue University of Bellevue, Nebraska allows the transfer of undergraduate academic credits between the two schools in the area of computer science.

Steelman was instrumental in helping Grantham University relocate to Missouri following Hurricane Katrina, which destroyed the school's facilities in Slidell, La.

04/20/06 - Grantham University Relocates to Kansas City, Hires Locally

Grantham University relocated from New Orleans to Kansas City as a result of Hurricane Katrina. On April 20, 2006, at 4 p.m., the University will commemorate its new 30,000 square foot main campus building at Zona Rosa in the Northland of Kansas City with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
