The Master of Science in Information Technology (MS-IT) prepares students for careers in information technology in a variety of business settings. The graduate student is introduced to how information flows through an enterprise and is presented with effective uses of technology and its applications. This graduate degree program examines information technology with an emphasis on strategies for applying technology both effectively and profitably.

Information Management:
The Master of Science in Information Technology program prepares graduates for work in a variety of IT related fields. For example, information managers conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplifications and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. They also take part in developing storage and archiving procedures so that information and data can be efficiently recovered and analyzed at later dates. They make suggestions on the proper methods and procedures for the correct dissemination of information in an enterprise.
