Grantham University’s Mark Skousen School of Business, renamed for Dr. Mark Skousen in April 2005, is dedicated to offering a superior, professionally relevant business education which focuses on meeting the needs of students, organizations and the global community. The School of Business, which offers four undergraduate degree programs, three Master of Business Administration programs, and five Master of Science programs, is committed to providing online undergraduate and graduate programs that are responsive to the stimulating business environment and accessible to all students. The School of Business strives to continuously improve its offerings through program reviews, environmental scans and devoted faculty members.

About Mark Skousen
“Dr. Mark Skousen is a distinguished scholar and is considered by many leading academics and business leaders to be one of the top free-market economists in the world,” said Thomas M. Dr. Skousen is a professional economist, financial advisor, and author of over 20 books. He has taught economics and finance at Columbia Business School, Columbia University, Barnard College, Mercy College, and Rollins College. From 2001 to 2002, he was president of the Foundation for Economic Education in New York.
Since 1980, he has been editor in chief of Forecasts & Strategies, a popular award-winning investment newsletter in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Skousen was an economic analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency; consultant to IBM, and other Fortune 500 companies; columnist for Forbes magazine; and has written articles for the Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Liberty, Reason, and The Journal of Economic Perspectives. He has appeared on CNBC’s Kudlow & Co., CNBC Power Lunch, ABC News, CNN, Fox News, and C-SPAN Book TV. He is also the producer of FreedomFest (www.freedomfest.com), the world’s largest gathering of free minds, which meets every year in July in Las Vegas, and founder of the Free Market Hall of Fame.
Dr. Skousen earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics at Brigham Young University and his Ph.D. in economics and monetary history from George Washington University. He has lived in eight nations, and traveled and lectured throughout the United States and in 71 countries.
