This is a major accomplishment as I will become the first male in my immediate family to hold a college degree and certification. ... I found out that there were two individuals out there with a big heart who were concerned about their student journey. Mrs. Lynn Berry and Mrs. Tina Gibson assured me that they would be there if I ever needed someone to rely on and they were there ... Upon the second week of my being enrolled, I wanted to quit as I thought what I was pursuing was way too much for me as an older male.
