Participation in commencement does not imply or assure degree conferral. Degrees are conferred when all requirements, including financial, have been met

When making your reservations, please be sure to mention that it is for Grantham University to get the rate of $62.00 (plus tax) per night. Reservations must be made by June 12, 2009 to receive this rate. The Holiday Inn KCI is adjacent to the KCI Expo Center, and they offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.

Reservations must be made by June 12, 2009 to receive this rate. Four Points by Sheraton offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, the KCI Expo Center, and anywhere within a five (5) mile radius of the hotel.
Commencement Fee:
The commencement fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) per graduate and covers the day's activities. To register for the Commencement Ceremony, please click on the Register Now button at the top of this page.
Regalia (Cap, Gown, Tassel, etc.):
To order your regalia, visit http://college.jostens.com/jostens/college/index.jsp and type Grantham University in the box that prompts you to enter your school. Graduation regalia will be mailed directly to you; please remember to bring it with you to the ceremony on June 27th. Undergraduate candidates must place their order by June 8, 2009 and Master's candidates must place their order by May 25, 2009 to avoid rush shipping charges.

Key Note Speaker:
SSG Brown receives Bronze Star Medal from his Company Commander.

We are honored to have Missouri State Representative Jason Brown as the Key Note Speaker at this year’s Commencement. Representative Brown serves Platte County (District 30) in the Missouri House of Representatives. In addition to his legislative duties, he owns and operates a small business and is a veteran Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserves.
During a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in October 2006, Representative Brown was injured by incoming enemy fire while on patrol in Adhamiyah. After recovering from those injuries, he returned to Iraq to complete his tour. Representative Brown received a Bronze Star Medal for exceptional meritorious service during combat operations in Iraq and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for the wound that he sustained from enemy sniper fire.
2008 Commencement Ceremony - Kansas City, MO
Grantham University graduates, along with friends and loved ones, from around the country came to Kansas City to graduate with classmates they have never met. Donning caps and gowns, these graduates, some of whom have dedicated several years studying online to earn their degrees, walked across the stage June 21, 2008 in a ceremony at the KCI Expo Center.
