You have until July 9th to register to attend Commencement. All current and past graduates and those students who are enrolled in their final two (2) courses as of June 30, 2010 are eligible to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Participation in commencement does not imply or assure degree conferral. Degrees are conferred when all requirements, including financial, have been met.

Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11 a.m.
(Graduates should arrive by 9:30 a.m. for pre-ceremony instructions.)

Reception:
Held immediately following Commencement Ceremony
(around 1:00 p.m.)

Graduates will be provided with a more detailed schedule as we move closer to the ceremony date.

We have a block of rooms reserved under Grantham University from August 12 – 14, 2010. When making your reservations, please be sure to mention that it is for Grantham University to get the rate of $62.00 (plus tax) per night. Guests will receive one complimentary breakfast per morning per room. The Holiday Inn KCI is adjacent to the KCI Expo Center, and they offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.

Commencement Fee:

The commencement fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) per graduate and covers the day’s activities. There is no limit to the number of guests that you can bring, and there is no cost for them to attend either the Ceremony or the Reception. Regalia (Cap, Gown, Tassel, etc.):

To order your regalia, visit http://college.jostens.com/jostens/college/index.jsp and type Grantham University in the box that prompts you to enter your school. Graduation regalia will be mailed directly to you; please remember to bring it with you to the ceremony on August 14th. You must place your order by July 22^nd, 2010 to avoid rush shipment fees.
