May 25, 2007 - Grantham University (www.grantham.edu), an online university specializing in educating working adults, today announced that it has partnered with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). This partnership formed as a result of the Air Force's Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative Program (AU ABC). This program allows CCAF to partner with military friendly academic institutions, such as Grantham University, who will accept all CCAF degree program credits in one or more of its bachelor degrees programs.

"We want to stay front and center will all of our students, including those in the Air Force," said Greg Garcia, EdD, Dean of Military Programs at Grantham University. "Our goal is to continue providing the highest quality programs that truly represent a premiere online experience."

Grantham University was one of ten schools that tested the concept, and CCAF accepted two of its degree programs, Computer Science and Electronics Engineering Technology for this initiative. Airmen will be able to log into the Air Force portal beginning June 1, 2007, browse through the available degree programs, and enroll with one of the accepted academic institutions.

"As both Grantham and the military education and training communities move forward into the 21st century, we're excited about the revolutionary new ways we can cooperatively bring the highest quality education programs to our students - both locally and globally," adds Garcia.

Grantham University offers online undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, General Studies, Computer Science, and other technology related fields.
