November 30, 2007 - Grantham University, an online university specializing in educating working adults, today announced that it would award Sergeant Scott Csanadi one of 54 Army National Guard Scholarships. SGT Csanadi, a member of the Army National Guard for one year, serves with the 3175th Military Police Co. in Warrenton, Mo. SGT Csanadi will be awarded the scholarship in a presentation at noon on Sunday, December 2 at the ARNG Armory in Mexico, Mo.

"Grantham's scholarship gives me the opportunity to finish my education without worrying about the financial obligation," said SGT Csanadi. "Grantham's online program works great for me because I sustained injuries while serving in Afghanistan. I can study and work from home at my convenience."

In conjunction with GX® magazine, a nationwide publication for members of the National Guard and their families, Grantham University provided one full, four-year scholarship to an Army National Guard member in each of the 50 states and four U.S. territories including DC, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The scholarship, valued at approximately $34,000, covers: tuition costs, required textbooks and software.
