Military Service Members Scholarship
Helping service members overcome financial hurdles
To help relieve the financial challenges associated with pursuing your education, Grantham University offers a Military Scholarship Program. This scholarship for service members is open to active duty, reservists, National Guardsmen and other service members who qualify for tuition assistance (TA) benefits.
Through the program, qualifying service members are provided a tuition rate of $250.00 per credit hour, and a Textbook and Software Grant that covers the cost of required textbooks and software. If a National Guardsman or reservist receives only 75% TA benefits, or $187.50 per credit hour, the Grantham Military Scholarship for Service Members covers the remaining tuition after TA benefits have been applied, up to $250 per credit hour.
*Each branch of the military has its own criteria for the amount of TA a service member receives.
If you cap out using your allotted Fiscal Year TA benefits with Grantham, you can continue your coursework by using other methods of payment, such as VA Education Benefits (if eligible). Your student advisor will work with you one-on-one to determine for what additional benefits you qualify.
Please note: A student using TA who enrolls in multiple courses must complete all the courses in the eight-week (56-day) term.
