Kansas City, Mo. — Feb. 17, 2014 — Though a winter storm was moving towards Savannah, Ga., members of the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) came together early Tuesday morning to select their new board members. Following the election, Grantham University’s Dr. Jeffrey Cropsey, vice president for strategic initiatives and external relations, was named the new president-elect of CCME.
“Being named president-elect for CCME is very exciting,” Dr. Cropsey said. “I’m thrilled that the membership believed in my leadership ability and vision for the future. I look forward to continuing CCME’s mission and important initiatives to address the constantly changing environment in the partnership between the services, colleges and universities.”
Following his term as president-elect, Dr. Cropsey will assume the position of president of CCME in January 2015 behind 2014 president, Jim Yeonopolus of Central Texas College. Dr. Cropsey’s term will end in 2016.
