Grantham announces it is now accepting EANGUS scholarship applications for one deserving member of the National Guard Enlisted community.

Lenexa, Kan. – April 18, 2016 – Grantham University, a 65-year-old institution delivering accredited online degree programs to working adults and active-duty military students around the world, is focused on providing affordable higher education for adult learners.  Grantham is partnering with the Enlisted Association of the National Guard (EANGUS) to award a full undergraduate or graduate scholarship to the University.

Dr. Cheryl Hayek, Grantham University interim university president and provost, underscored the importance of making higher education attainable for our nation’s service members, veterans, spouses and dependents. “Honoring those who serve our country and communities is at the core of Grantham’s very existence. It has been a privilege to partner with EANGUS over the past several years in offering this special scholarship opportunity to one of the Association’s distinguished members.”

The scholarship, in honor of CSM Virgil R. Williams, the second EANGUS President, a Korean War veteran and Command Sergeant Major of the Mississippi National Guard. Valued at up to $38,600, the scholarship covers tuition costs, required textbooks, software and fees. The value depends on the degree selected and credits transferred. For more information visit:
