Grantham University Announces Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States Full Scholarship Winners

Lenexa, Kan., August 4, 2020 — Grantham University, an online university, has announced today the winners of its Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States Scholarship. The scholarship is part of a partnership between the Enlisted Association of the National Guard (EANGUS) and Grantham University, and is awarded annually to two EANGUS members pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from Grantham.
The 2020 winners are SSgt. Anisa Goodman of the New Mexico National Guard and Sgt. Viviano Perez of the California Army National Guard. Each will receive a full scholarship to cover the cost of tuition, books, software, etc.
“Both Anisa and Viviano have made important contributions to our country as members of the National Guard, and we want to thank them for their service by presenting them with this scholarship,” says Dr. Anthony R. Petroy, president, provost and chief academic officer of Grantham University. “We are excited to be alongside them as they work toward their degrees and fulfilling careers.”
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must be an active EANGUS member or be the spouse or child of an EANGUS member and complete an essay on why they want to continue their education.
