GRANTHAM UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES FEDERALLY EMPLOYED WOMEN SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT AND PROFESSIONAL BRANDING EVENT IN DALLAS, TX

Kelly Browd is the 2016 Grantham University Federally Employed Women scholarship recipient.

Lenexa, Kan. – June 20, 2016 – Grantham University, a 65-year-old institution delivering accredited online degree programs to working adults and active-duty military students around the world, announced Kelly Browd as the 2016 Federally Employed Women (FEW) scholarship  recipient. The scholarship is valued up to $38,600 and covers tuitions costs, required textbooks, software and fees.

Browd has worked for the Internal Revenue Service since 1990 and has held management positions since 1995. She has been a member of the Brookhaven, New York, FEW chapter for 17 years and served as chapter president for six years. She and her husband Corey have three children and live in Mastic, New York.

Browd said, “This scholarship will assist me in obtaining a degree to gain a senior management position within the Internal Revenue Service. I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

Grantham will be presenting at FEW’s National Training Program in Dallas, Texas, on July 11-14, focused on personal and professional career growth for federal workers. On Thursday, July 14th, at 6:00 p.m., Grantham staff members will hold a free Professional Branding Event open to the FEW members, university students/alumni, and the general public at the Lakewest Family YMCA, 3737 Goldman St., Dallas.
