Lenexa, KAN. - March 4, 2020 — Grantham University, an online university specializing in educating working adults, is now accepting applications for the Spencer C. Duncan Make It Count Scholarship for service members, veterans and military family members.
The Make It Count Scholarship award is made in honor of Army Specialist Spencer C. Duncan, killed in action in 2011 as he sought to make a difference in the world. Over time, the university has been given numerous accounts of individuals who took Specialist Duncan’s “Make It Count” message to heart and are, even now, working hard to make every day count.
The Make It Count Scholarship, valued up to $5,000, will be awarded twice a year to up to four deserving applicants. Funds from the award can be applied to any of Grantham’s career-building certificate or degree programs, helping to cover the cost of tuition, textbooks, software and associated fees.
