Lenexa, Kan., Feb. 19, 2021 — UA Grantham, an online university, announced today that it has been designated a Military Friendly® School for the 2021-2022 Military Friendly® Cycle. This is the 12th consecutive time Grantham University has been named a Military Friendly® School.

Military Friendly® Schools ratings are determined by evaluating both public data about the institution and proprietary data gathered via a survey of the institutions’ students. Final ratings are determined by combining an institution’s survey scores with the assessment of the institution’s ability to meet minimum thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment and loan default rates for all students and for student veterans.

Specifically, to earn the military friendly school designation, an institution must have at least a 50 percent graduation rate, a one- and two-year retention rate of at least 50 percent, a loan default rate 20 percent or lower and a job placement rate of at least 50 percent. More than 1,000 institutions were evaluated to determine the Top 10 Military Friendly® Schools.

“Being named a Military Friendly® School is a tremendous honor and an affirmation that our professors and curriculum meet the needs of military veterans, active-duty and their families,” said Lindsay Bridgeman, interim president of UA Grantham. “We remain committed to providing unmatched quality for all students and preparing them to enter the workforce upon graduation.”
