LENEXA, Kan. – Sept. 13, 2016 - Grantham University and Methodist Healthcare System (MHS) have announced a partnership that will enable MHS employees to more easily achieve higher education by offering reduced tuition rates and credit for prior learning, which potentially shortens a student’s time to graduation.

Grantham is a 65-year-old institution delivering accredited online degree programs and certificates to working adults, active-duty military and veterans around the world, while MHS is one of the most respected and preferred healthcare providers in the South Texas community.

Through the agreement, all MHS employees benefit from reduced tuition rates ($252 per semester hour for Grantham’s undergraduate degree programs; $309 per semester hour for graduate programs), and the ability to have corporate training and other experience evaluated for transfer credit at Grantham.

“Grantham University is thrilled to offer Methodist Healthcare System employees who have completed leadership training the opportunity to turn that knowledge into college credit for both the graduate and undergraduate degree programs,” said Tabitha Davis, Grantham University director of University Outreach. “We are also able to offer all MHS employees reduced tuition rates, and can evaluate all of their other training and even life experience for potential credit at Grantham.”
