For the second year in a row, Grantham University has partnered with the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (KC AUSA) to provide one full, four-year scholarship to a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) and one full, four-year scholarship to the spouse of a NCO.  The scholarships cover tuition costs for an undergraduate or graduate degree, required textbooks, software, fees and shipping of the course materials.  The combined value of these scholarships is $72,000.

Last year's scholarship recipients, Sgt. Matthew Giersdorf a NCO from Fort Riley, Kansas, and Lisa Kirk, the spouse of a NCO from Topeka, Kansas, are well on the way to realizing their dreams of earning a college degree.

The application deadline for this year's scholarship program has ended.  Scholarship recipients will be notified by October 1, 2010.
