Last year's scholarship recipients, Sgt. Matthew Giersdorf a NCO from Fort Riley, Kansas, and Lisa Kirk, the spouse of a NCO from Topeka, Kansas, are well on the way to realizing their dreams of earning a college degree.
The application deadline for this year's scholarship program has ended. Scholarship recipients will be notified by October 1, 2010.
