Kansas City, Mo. – September 21, 2010 – Grantham University, an online university specializing in educating working adults, would like to congratulate Staff Sergeant (SSG) Kandis Dicks on the recent completion of her bachelor's degree. SSG Dicks was presented with her Bachelor of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies on August 9, 2010, by Stacy Auguste, Grantham University's Area Director of Military Programs and Outreach in Ft. Campbell, KY.
A veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Air Force Reserves, SSG Dicks is married to Sergeant First Class Robert Dicks, who has been deployed to Afghanistan since April 2010. She is currently a Family Readiness Support Assistant for the 86 CSH and volunteers with the Enlisted Spouses Club and her son Ryon's school. SSG Dicks began her classes with Grantham in December 2008. She is now pursuing a second bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with Grantham University. Again, congratulations to SSG Dicks on this outstanding achievement.
Grantham University was founded in 1951 by Donald Grantham, a veteran of World War II, to help prepare veterans for new jobs in the electronics' industry and a better future upon their return to civilian life. Today, the University supports thousands of online students in 36 different associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs.
Grantham's accredited online degree programs allow students to access their coursework when and where it's convenient for them, so they can fit education into their lives instead of arranging their lives around education. In a recent Student Satisfaction Survey, nearly nine out of ten students stated that they would enroll at Grantham again.
