The local chapter of Disability: IN helps companies in the Kansas City area advance their disability inclusion efforts in the workplace and marketplace. Under the agreement, Disability: IN Greater Kansas City employees and their spouses can benefit from: reduced tuition for Grantham’s more than 60 undergraduate- and graduate-level degree and certificate programs; a complimentary Prior Learning Assessment and professional development session; and career opportunities hosted through the Grantham University Career Launch program.
“At Grantham, our goal is to make education possible for everyone, including those who don’t fit the typical ‘college student’ profile,” said George Colon, Grantham University’s director of university outreach. “We’re excited to partner with an organization like Disability: IN Greater Kansas City, which provides opportunities to deserving, capable, disabled Americans. We think the organization’s employees will find a lot of value in this.”
