LENEXA, Kan., August 30, 2017 – Grantham University, a leading provider of 100% online college degrees and certificate programs, is proud to partner with the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) to award a full undergraduate scholarship to student Veronica Centeno.

“Grantham University has allowed me to complete my education on my own terms,” said Centeno. “With the assistance of this scholarship and my determination to finish my degree, I hope to graduate in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.”

Valued at over $39,000, the Grantham Salutes EANGUS Scholarship covers tuition costs, required textbooks, software and fees. The scholarship value depends on the degree selected and credits transferred.

Centeno, who currently serves as a Federal Technician with the Florida National Guard, says, “I know my girls will be very proud of me to know I have made a sacrifice of my time to continue my education and provide for our family.”

Grantham proudly serves a broad population of adult learners – from our nation’s honored military and public service to corporate America and those desiring education for personal and professional advancement. Students work with advisors throughout their entire educational journey, whose support centers on being accessible, responsive and understanding of the student’s needs.

“We are happy to award the Grantham Salutes EANGUS Scholarship to Veronica, a student who is not only a member of the active duty military community, but also a driven adult learner and mother,” said Tabitha Davis, director of Grantham’s university outreach division. “Our university aims to serve those who serve, and it is clear that Veronica is the perfect embodiment of Grantham’s values.”

The scholarship will be awarded at the EANGUS 46th Annual Conference in Reno, Nevada.
